Constructing Reality Through Perceptual Interaction
Building Relativity is a spatial interface conceived not as a software tool, but as a creative process, an open framework for generating environments that respond to human perception. Like Virtual Reality, which simulates physical presence through measurable spatial parameters, Building Relativity engages with the idea of constructible reality, where space and time are not fixed coordinates but mutable experiences shaped by interaction. The project provides a straightforward and intuitive framework for experimentation, prototyping, and the creation of sensitive environments. These environments are designed to evolve in relation to the observer, adapting to their movements, attention, and perceptual rhythms. In this way, Building Relativity aligns with phenomenological theories of embodied space, where perception is not a passive process but a generative one, and reality is continuously co-constructed through presence.
